Spend Valentine’s Day Wining and Dining In Santa Barbara’s Presidio Neighborhood

Chocolates? Sure.

Flowers? Ok. Whatevs.

Dinner reservation in a crowded restaurant?

Wine tour in downtown Santa Barbara? YES, PLEASE!

We’ve got you covered this Valentine’s Day with a super laid-back, relaxing stroll through the Presidio and El Paseo neighborhood with sips of wine, bites of cheese from around the world, and locally-made chocolates. (No need to totally ditch the chocolate idea, amiright?)

This Valentine’s Day we will be running our El Paseo Wine & Photo Tour that walks small intimate groups of 10 or fewer people (per guide) through quaint, cozy wine tasting rooms and a couple of local restaurants. Start out with a few bites from Hoffmann Brat Haus before wandering through the Wine Collection of El Paseo.

At the halfway point, walk down Santa Barbara’s oldest streets and stopoff at C’est Cheese for bites of cheeses and meats from around the world. Then walk back to the El Paseo courtyard by way of the Presidio chapel where you’ll hear about Santa Barbara’s rich history and walk through the second oldest building in California.

Finish your tour with more wine tasting from some of Santa Barbara’s top-shelf winemakers and wrap up the 3-hour tour with a chocolate tasting that’s sure to tickle your taste buds.

Along the way, you’ll also get a few tips on travel photography and have plenty of opportunities to shoot the romantic city streets of our sunny city!
